Most of us have dreamed of marriage having kids and a lovely house by the time we reach 30.

But what if it doesn't happen as planned. Most of us might feel dejected at not being in a relationship. We might envy our friends and cousins who are getting married before us in spite of being younger than us. Worst your younger sister might get into a wedlock before you.
The dirty looks we get when we are at someone's marriage. It's like being single is a plague. People back bite and come up with all sorts of reasons as to why you are single? Maybe she is not beautiful enough? Too much attitude?

Depressing thought. Thoughts of being wanted and loved They can all come up with so many reasons to get to married.

Okay saying all that now its time I write on why I think I am blessed that am still single.
Am not answerable to anyone- Oh yes its a blessing .

No nagging in laws- Who likes in-laws.

When I sit with my married cousins all they can talk of is how they have to deal with their villainous in-laws. Well am glad am still not there.

Kids- Having Kids can be fun. But is it really fun? Once kids comes in lives of couples rotates around them.
No fun or romance.Kids can wait.Let me grow up first.

Free to do what I want- And by that I really mean what I want.
I can sleep late
I can wake up late
I can cook
I can not cook
I can do crazy things
and the list can go on and on

Have more me time- Yes the precious me time. Which just vanishes once you are in any relationship.

Try new things- So we can do new things without thinking how it will affect our married life.

Pamper oneself- This is one thing which just vanishes once you step into a married life.

No Responsibility- They say with marriage comes responsibility. Now who needs unnecessary stress. Am I not better with my own responsibility?

Can be more sexy and beautiful- Most of my friends and cousins who have married have gained weights , lost shape. They have no time for themselves. Wonder if they envy me ;)

So see I have reasons to feel am blessed.
