In our daily nitty-gritty of life and working like a clock day in and out. We all strife to keep appearance in front of the world. We all think we have a perfect and happy life. We all believe what others are doing are also right for us. Such was the life of Lily and Laurence. Lily was busy with social upfront of her family. Planning exotic holidays and making how and where they will party out. Whereas Laurence was busy making money.

We all marvel or have fantasy of have a lavish lifestyle. We believe at it is what will make us happy. That the people we are partying with are our best friends and that nothing can ever go wrong.

Savings for a rainy day skips our minds. We try to make it like there won't be mishaps with us. When we hear about people losing it all we think it won't be us. It occurred to them because they deserved to be. What happens when it is one of us? What do we do when there's nothing left to lose?
Such was a situation The Lamont-Jones family themselves in. The only way is up portraits how the family copes up with the situation. How there views towards life changes . How they learn that money doesn't always buy happiness . How the home is where the heart is. and most importantly it portraits how a good understanding among relationship is important. Importance of family friends. Knowing who our real friends are.

As we read the story we come to learn many a things from them
Like true friends are those who tend to stand up even when you have nothing on you. Amanda whom Lily considered her best friend avoided them like plague after the downfall. Whereas Tracey who hardly knew them happily shared whatever she had and stood up with them like a true friend throughout. Living with Tracey lily learned that what she was living before was a life of pretenses and appearance. Whereas now she can be herself with no one to judge them . They can open up with each other and be more happy. Then they ever were.

Lily and Laurence while in their previous lifestyle where living like Queen and King but the spark was missing. They didn't spend time with each other. The children
were send to boarding school. Both were busy on one pretext or other. The didn't spend time with there own kids. After downfall they came closure to each other as a family. Getting to spend quality time.

As we read it we realise that this is becoming a norm in our so called high end life's. We are have become slaves of technology. We don't have time for ourselves, let for our dear ones. We all have hundreds of friends in Facebook and other social Media but do we have that one Friend whom we can rely on our bad time?
We all are living life's as if there is no tomorrow. But have we saved enough to last us while it rains?

We don't need to be thrown to the roads to get to know how the character feels.

Can love happen twice? This is the second book of Ravinder Singh. Who became an author by chance. He lost his love and wrote her memory in the form of a book I too had a Love Story which told us how twist and turns in life can change ones life.

Disasters happens with everyone but there are few like Ravinder who can change it in a positive way. While Ravinder was picking up pieces of his life and trying to cope with the misery he had to go oversees for some business purpose. An opportunity which he grabbed.

He landed in Belgium and there he met an Indian girl Simar to whom he was attracted instantly. What started with a friendship slowly developed into love.All his friends and family were happy to see another girl in Ravins life. Simar broke the wall he had created and he allowed her to. Love happened once again. All were going fine till the time Ravin had to return to India.

Things didn't work between the two of them, because they loved the same person. He loved her and she loved herself.

Distance create difference. The priorities changes, goals changes.

Wealth, women and wine can make anything happen in this world.

Simar chooses her career over love and breaks Ravins heart. Ironically on the same day on which Khushi had died. Ravin have left the readers to choose whether this book too was real or fiction. Nowadays we see that Love have become like any other gadgets in life. You fall in it and you break up just as one changes mobiles you change when a better one comes.

Is this what real Love is about?

Can constantly falling in love and breaking up be called real love? Do we really mean I Love You when we say it?

I too had a love story is autobiographical novel of Ravinder Singh which was written in memory of his love Khushi. It hooked the audience instantly and still is one of the national bestsellers of the time.

The story is almost like a fairy-tale. How a guy made a matrimonial profile without giving any thought to it. How he meet Khushi through it, and love starts blooming. Both were deeply in love even before they met each other.
Then just like any love marriage turned into arranged marriage kind off way. The cute couple introduce each others families and a date was fixed for their engagement. Both were on the seventh sky in absolute bliss. But as destiny would have it. Not all love stories have a happy ending.

Khushi met with an accident on the morning of her engagement and died few days later. leaving Ravin shattered to pick up the pieces of their memories.

Now we all may wonder what's new here?

Khushi was gone. Ravin was depressed.
We might even think God was mean towards them. That such a loving couple couldn't be together.

After reading the book we might feel bad and think
"Did this had to happen? Were they not meant to be together?"

But as its said God have plans for all. This might have been his plan for Ravin.
He got to know what real love is in the form of Khushi. Had it not happened would Ravinder Singh been a famous author now? Would we have known them? Would he have been writing one bestsellers after another?
